Rolling Shutter Slats

We have a range of Roller Shutter laths in Steel and Aluminium. These slats make up the roller shutter curtain. They simply slide together and are endlocked at each end, to prevent the curtain sliding apart.

The Galvanised Steel Laths are cold rolled to for the curved curly lath. The steel laths are manufactured using either 0.7mm (22G), 0.9mm (20G) or 1.2mm (18G), the lower the gauge, the thicker the steel. The 22G and 20G are the most common sizes and usually, it's determined by the size of the roller shutter door. Available Solid, Perforated or Punched.

The aluminum laths are extruded laths. Aluminum tends to be lighter in weight and weathers better than galvanised steel. The Solid laths are twin walled and some have insulation. The Perforated or Punched laths are single skin laths. The aluminium laths must be powder coated and cannot be supplied mill finish.
